OUR mission
Mission Statement: The Augusta Association of Baptist Churches exists to serve as a catalyst, under the Lordship of Jesus Christ and the leadership of the Holy Spirit, to develop healthy churches that accomplish ministry and missions, individually and cooperatively. |
Vision Statement: To see New Testament churches united in their effort to fulfill the Great Commission and joyfully cooperate in ministries that will enhance and enlarge the Kingdom of God. |
Who we are
We are a group of Central Savanah River Area Baptist churches, acting cooperatively to further the Kingdom of God. Collectively we can do what no single church can do by itself. We work together to enhance follow, resolve doctrinal and policy issues, and assist churches in accomplishing their mission. Our association assists our churches in proclaiming the Gospel to the lost, discipling the saved, and ministering to persons in Christ's name. |
What do we do
Under the Lordship of Jesus Christ and the leadership of the Holy Spirit, the Augusta Association of Baptist Churches exists to serve as a catalyst to develop healthy churches that accomplish ministry and missions, individually and cooperatively. |
why we do it
Our mission is to serve the churches and pastors of the Augusta Association of Baptist Churches. One way we do this is through the "Blue Sky Vision", a laboratory for missions in Augusta, Georgia. Through this mission lab, we help our partners in reducing lostness, assisting with church revitalization, providing discipleship training in the areas of outreach, evangelism, and experiencing practical missions and ministries events and activities We seek to build relationships, connect networks, and establish mutually beneficial partnerships. |
